Thursday morning on 1/10/09, Sumatera province of Indonesia is shaken by an earthquake. The collapsed building, children crying by the side of rubble houses shown metrotv makes our heart cry with their misery.
According to Indonesia media source, the earthquake has been estimated to cause about 200-4oo death. The earthquake consequences can cause health disaster such as endemic infectious outbreak if the emergency plan to help those people there are too late. However, the Minister of Health of Indonesia republic comments, that they has a contingency plan up to 2 months to solve this problem.
For people like us in Malaysia, we should be thankful to God that our country is free from earthquake although there was mild shaken in a few region near Indonesia. Let us give a helping hand to those people in need of our help..
